Office Refurbishment Projects

This involved installation of a new and flexible working lay-out, incorporating an enlarged kitchen, open plan offices, with supporting power and data installation and new flooring. The works created a modern and fun workspace which had become a little dated and has provided the Team at CMA with a more collaborative and inspiring environment.

For this project, new stud partitioning and fill height glass partitioning was constructed, together with the installation of new full height Oak door. Alterations were also made to existing lighting to align with the new structures. It was good to be invited to return to Fareham Heights having completed a full building refurbishment for the Landlord back in 2022.

After multiple design meetings with the client, we agreed upon a layout with capacity for 30 members of staff, boardroom facility, private offices, comms room and a breakout space.  Our works focused on the construction of solid and glass partitioning and decoration whilst working alongside 3rd party contractors directly employed by the client to install mechanical and electrical requirements.

The brief was to design a new interior of Compass House which had been purchased by the client. Working closely in partnership with the client, contract administrator and building control we created a layout incorporating 30 private offices, 3 meeting rooms, a boardroom, multiple breakout spaces and a new reception facility. The works during this 12-week project included mechanical and electrical alterations and additions, new partitioning and doors, flooring, ceilings, and decoration.

This was achieved by splitting the job in to two phases. Phase 1 involved moving some staff and meeting facilities into the ground floor of the property to enable us to refurbish the first floor as a high-density desking area with a small 1-2-1 meeting room and kitchenette. Claire Logic then re-located to the first floor so we could build a new and super smart break out area and board room on the ground floor. Working in an environment where office work is ongoing always presents a challenge however the project was successful, and our client was pleased with the management of the project as well as the end result. The project involved new W/C's, flooring, suspended ceiling, a break out area, new lighting and electrical installation, air-conditioning and decorating.

The brief was to re-configure and design the existing space with the addition of a break-out area; installation of LED dimmable lighting throughout; installation of new floor coverings and suspended ceilings and all decorative interior finishing touches to complete the space. The vision was for a light touch look and feel with glass partitioning and doors used to give the illusion of a larger, brighter, open space. The works included reconfigured existing A/C system, new reception and glass meeting rooms, new first floor break out space and kitchen, new high-density office area incorporating bench style seating, new electrical and structural cabling and decoration throughout.

With a blend of open plan office and break-out space, meeting rooms and a management suite, the new space has provided a light and fresh working environment.

A variety of different finishes and heights of furniture were used to create textures and pockets of space which could be used for multi-purpose functions.

A meeting room was created with a brick effect wall and TV, a concrete plinth was built with raised desking running adjacent to the windows to maximise the light and for the active members of the Team who cycle and run to the office, a shower room was created.

A blend of carpet tiles and hard flooring was used to create different zones within the open plan space and a fully fitted kitchen was installed. In addition, we installed new plumbing, w/c and lighting throughout.

We used a lot of glass to achieve this! Cellular areas with in the space were built using glass to ensure a bright, open plan look and feel and capture the views across the water.

A bespoke feature was designed and built to divide Reception from the office space by using slatted timber hung with wire rigging which was wall mounted to create the partition. Other works included A/C alterations, installation of data and floor box power, new flooring and installation of glass meeting rooms and offices.

An open plan office space suitable for re-letting in the market. Works included the demolition and removal of redundant partitioning, fit-out, replacement of ceilings, new carpets, decoration, enhancement of lighting and refurbishment of w/cs and reception area.

Works included the demolition of a block party wall, reconfiguring of exciting A/C system, glass fronted board room, new break-out space and kitchen, new electrical and structural cabling, decoration and new floor finishes throughout.

The project was to design and install, amongst other works, 3 cubular, covid-secure micro-offices. For a company who have previously relied heavily on travel to operate and connect the restrictions have resulted in finding alternative solutions to interact and like with companies everywhere, a virtual approach to communication and function. These cubular offices will also provide privacy and quiet space for the Team to communicate with other colleagues via virtual platforms and ensure employees remain effective in their roles and allow the business to operate as effectively as before.

In addition to the cellular offices, we created a Directors Office, Boardroom and break-out facility. Lighting was re-adjusted to accommodate the new lay-out and additional electrical supplies installed.

We installed a new glass front meeting room with “critall style” effect together with a new kitchen including laminate flooring finish to bring a contemporary look and feel to the space.

Works included, construction of a new state of the art monitor wall, new ceilings, lighting and electrical fit-out as well as a brand new raised floor and floor coverings.
